| Engagement Night |
Pooh and I were engaged on Saturday, December 4, 2004 - the anniversary of our third year together. During one of our usual wine and cheese picnics next to the U.S.S. Midway in downtown San Diego, I surprised Pooh with a ring that was hidden in the Pooh doll below. After Pooh stopped crying and said "Yes," we took a horse-drawn carriage to one of our favorite local restaurants called Candelas. At the restaurant, our closest family and friends were waiting for us - thinking they were there for a surprise birthday party for Pooh. When we arrived, I surprised everyone by announcing our engagement! It was a great night.
